Hundreds troop to TESDA training enrollment Print

Hundreds of participants trooped to the TESDA- sponsored Special National Technical Vocational Educational Training enrollment and job bridging which started yesterday at a local mall.

The program was held to cater to parties interested to join programs related to Construction, Information Technology and Business Process Management.

The construction program offers training for masonry, heavy equipment operation, plumbing, welding, and electrical installation and wiring.

Training on animation, technical drafting, English proficiency, call center services, medical transcription are also being offered to interested participants.

Nelly H. Macapili Sr., TESDA-9 Specialist, said that hundreds of applicants attended the first day of enrollment.

This includes students who have graduated from Senior High School.

Macapili said that focus was given to the ICT and construction programs to respond to the “Build, Build, Build” program of the government.

The event, which is being held nationwide, ends today.

The program is being held in coordination with the Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Information Technology, Public Employment Service Office, Department of Labor and Employment, city government, and other concerned agencies.  (RGAAGo)
