The completion of infrastructure projects in the city has long been  overdue, thus prompting the conduct of a coordinating conference to address issues relative to the problem.

First District Congressman Celso Lobregat said that he has to call the coordinating conference with all agencies concerned in order to determine the reasons for the projects’ delay.

“El problema na losdemas ahensya del govierno, ta man enseñahan mano sila, que na DENR, na DPWH, Na water district o ZAMCELCO, habla yo, hende ansina, cumbiene todo man ayudahan para busca solusyon na masquin cosa problema enfrenta el Proyecto,” Lobregat said.

Lobregat said that the ongoing infrastructure projects implemented by both the DPWH regional and district offices have been overdue from its prescribed period of completion due to impediments either on Road Right of Way (RROW) or other factors affecting the completion of such projects.

The solon has thus instilled pressure to top officials, field and technical personnel of DPWH, local contractors and other utility providers who are  either involved or affected in the implementation of the ongoing  national  government infrastructure projects in the objective of fast-tracking the completion of such.  (Dexter Yap)
