After seven months, the family of kidnap victim Jelster Ed Quimbo has yet to receive information about their abducted kin.

Labason Mayor Eddie Quimbo, Jelster’s father, said that they have not received any information about Jelster’s whereabouts since he was kidnapped last September.

Quimbo said that he only heard reports that Jelster’s kidnappers have been demanding P70 million in ransom for Jelster’s release.

The mayor added, however, that the family has yet to receive information straight from Jelster’s abductors.

“Wa man me kwarta e ka hatag para ma-release si Jelster, “ (We do not have money to pay the ransom for the release of Jelster,” said Mayor Ed Quimbo.
