The recent dialogue on the Zamboanga Roadmap to Recovery (Z3R) Housing for 2013 siege victims sparked more questions and was not able to clarify queries on the controversial project, according to a local councilor.

“Dol nohay aclara, mas yan buyung el Consejo,” said District 2 Councilor Mike Alavar.

Alavar said that the NHA failed to explain why the projects under the program have become substandard.

This includes thousands of houses for siege victims and the footbridge connecting the houses on stilts, which figured in a mishap the other week involving Zamboanga Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco- Salazar and Representatives Celso Lobregat and Albee Benitez.

“Envez kita sale informao, mas ya queda kita almaryao,” said Alavar on a recent interview on RMN.

At the start, Alavar said that he questioned the purpose of having the dialogue because of a pending inquiry at the House of Representatives.

The NHA, being the implementor of the Z3R housing project,  is expected to become the focus of the inquiry.

The City Councilor believes that there were irregularities that took place during the construction of the houses and that there must be someone who should answer and be sanctioned.  (Dan Toribio)
