District II Congressman Mannix Dalipe yesterday enjoined all stakeholders to take active role in the Brigada Eskwela program being carried out in the different public schools here in Zamboanga City.

Public elementary schools in the different barangays here in the city will launch the formal opening program of the Brigada Eskwela early morning today where teachers, parents, students, Parents andTeachers Association (PTA) barangay officials and other stakeholders are expected to actively take part.

“We urge all stakeholders in the community to help and contribute in the conduct of Brigada Eskwela in their respective community. Our public schools in our own locality really need our help,” Rep. Dalipe told reporters in an interview.

The congressman, for his part, will also be attending the Brigada Eskwela in the different barangays under his congressional district particularly in Tetuan Central SchooL

Dalipe said those who want to help the school in their own barangay can help in the week-long clean up of school classrooms in the spirit of ‘Bayanihan’. “While those who can not help in the actual cleaning of school can find ways on how to help by contributing logistics or finances for the repair and rehabilitation of classrooms, rest rooms and other facilities of the school.”
