A total of 21 entrepreneurs have graduated from the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI-9) Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) last Friday.

Ceferino Rubio, DTI provincial director, said that the program is expected to improve the technical, management and marketing capability of the entrepreneurs.

The graduates underwent a 10-week program which culminated in the presentation of a Business Improvement Plan.

The participants learned about the Entrepreneurial mindset, business plan and contract preparation, accounting, business operation and others from their mentors.

Among the mentors are City Administrator Angelique Go, Regional Governor of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pedro Rufo Soliven and Zamboanga Business Chamber of Commerce and Industry officer Edwin To.

“With this, we are expecting that we can achieve the target of being able to scale up their businesses,” said Rubio.

A total of 58 participants graduated from the program last year.  (RGAAGo)
