The Regional Maritime Unit-9 intercepted nine fishing boats and arrested an alleged drug pusher during their series of operations in Zamboanga Peninsula over the weekend.

The 901st Maritime Police Station conducted seaborne operations which led to the apprehension of three fishing boats.

The fishing boats were identified as the M/F Cervee Jean Royd, Loujean and M/F Lady Settinor.

The M/F Lady Settinor reportedly has expired records from Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

The two other boats, which were from Zamboanga City, were advised by Maritime troopers to renew their registration papers with the City Agriculturist Office (CAO).

Meanwhile, the 903rd MARPSTA in Pagadian City arrested a certain Joko Said Alpa, a suspected drug pusher.

Authorities confiscated two sachets of suspected shabu and P200 marked money from the suspect.  (Allen Abastillas)
