SRPI to hold outreach mission Print

Some 1,500 students of Talisayan and San Ramon Elementary School  will be recipients of a medical-dental outreach program to be conducted tomorrow by the San Ramon Power Inc (SRPI) together with government agencies and private organizations.

The activity will start at 8 a.m. at the Talisayan Elementary School campus.

The undertaking will support the education and health care programs of the school through screenings and referrals, health counseling and assisting students to develop self-management skills.

SRPI will also provide vitamins and mineral  hygiene kits, school supplies, slippers and free hair-cut and “arroz caldo.”

Also part of the activity is late birth registration, a lecture on safe driving for parents and other advocacies like adolescent health and anti-smoking.

The mission will be done in partnership with PIC Asia Pacific, Ltd., Department of Health, City Health Office, City Civil Registrar’s Office, Philippine Pharmacists Association, Zamboanga chapter, Philippine Dental Association, Zamboanga chapter, Smile Dental Clinic, Western Mindanao Command, Philippine National Police, Task Force Zamboanga, Special Action Battalion, Zamboanga City Magiting Eagles Club and non-government agencies, SRPI MMT and barangay Talisayan.  (SRPI PR)
