Government forces arrested a suspected drug pusher and confiscated several sachets of suspected shabu and firearms inside his residence in Jolo, Sulu late this week.

Supt. Salbino C. Piad, Regional Maritime Unit Chief of the Autonomous Region in Muslim MIndanao (ARMM), said that the suspect was arrested during a joint operation among the Maritime office, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

Piad identified the suspect as Motala Adel, a resident of Tulay, Jolo, Sulu.

Authorities were able to confiscate 35 sachets of suspected shabu, and four high-powered firearms kept inside his residence.

“Matagal na yan binabantayan ng mga tropa.  Sa katagalan nahuli din,” Piad said.
