A businesswoman is now in critical condition after she was shot by riding-in-tandem criminals in Talisayan last Tuesday.

 

Police identified the victim as Asria Sabandal y Tanging, 38 years old, married and a resident of Talisayan.

 

Sabandal was about to close her store at around 9:20 pm when a motorcycle stopped in front of her.

 

The backrider alighted from the vehicle, approached Sabandal and shot her several times.

 

The suspects sped away after the incident.

 

Sabandal sustained multiple bullet wounds and was rushed to the hospital by relatives.

 

Police recovered five spent shells and a slug of a firearm with unknown caliber at the crime scene.
