14-year-old driver injured in motorbike collision Print

A 14-year-old girl suffered a head injury when a motorcycle that she was driving collided with another motorcycle driven by a public school teacher in Siay Municipality, Zamboanga Sibugay last Friday afternoon.

A Police Regional Office-9 report identified the teen-age driver as Cherry May Lañojan Ramiso, a Grade 9 student.

Ramiso’s backrider, identified as 11-year old Ariel Lañojan Ramiso suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

Investigation disclosed that the motorcycle driven by public school teacher Ryan Azucena Barrios, 30-years-old was travelling from Ipil Municipality bound for Diplahan when the collision happened.

The motorycle driven by Ramiso, collided with the other motorcycle when it crossed the Provincial Road on its way to the National Highway.

Both motorcycles incurred damages and were brought to the Siay Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.  (Remus Ong)
