An Abu Sayyaf (ASG) sub-leader with a P600,000 bounty for his capture was arrested at the town proper in Jolo, Sulu last Sunday.

Sr. Supt. Pablo Labra, Sulu Provincial Police Office Director, identified the ASG sub-leader as Suaib Hayudini.

Hayudini was arrested near a remittance center in Jolo town proper at noontime last Sunday.

Labra said that Hayudini is listed among the DND-DILG’s List of Most Wanted Personalities and carries a P600,000 bounty for his capture.

Hayudini was arrested by elements of the PNP Special Action Force, PNP-Maritime Unit, and the Regional Intelligence Unit-9.

Hayudini is facing murder and kidnapping charges in connection to the 2001 Sipadan kidnapping and the 2001 Balobo massacre in Basilan Province.  (Ely Dumaboc)
