Operatives of the City Police Office’s Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force under Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo arrested five persons during a buy-bust operation at Boholano Drive, Camino Nuevo at noon last Tuesday.

De Ocampo identified the suspects as Eric Tan Lorenzo, 41, single of Tetuan, Rosalyn Palaez Assanul, 37, married of Boholano Drive, Camino Nuevo, Theresita Ting Borja, 43, married, of Recodo and Jennifer Borja Torres, 22, single of Tambucho, Canelar.

Police said the arresting team confiscated five sachets of shabu and P400 marked money  from the possession of Borja. From Torres’ possession, police recovered one vial containing white crystalline granules and inside the house of Palaez, the lawmen found several drug paraphernalia.
The two others were taken to the police station for questioning.

The recovered items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination pending the filing of charges against the suspects.
De Ocampo disclosed that the police will continue their operations against all kinds of illegal drugs in the city.
