Policemen recovered a stolen motorcycle aboard an interisland vessel achored at the local port and bound for Isabela City last Sunday morning.
Men of the City Police Office’s ant-carnapping Unit rushed to the port about 7 a.m. after receiving an information on a suspicious motorcycle aboard M/V Trisha Kerstin.

The motorcycle’s papers did not match with the original chasis, engine and plate numbers when verified by the investigators. This prompted the police to bring the motorcycle to the central police station for further investyigation.

It was learned later that the motorcycle was reported stolen early this month by its owner Maria Lourdes Falcatan of Tetuan.

Police said that Falcatan parked her Honda Wave 100 with plate number JM 3449 in front of Paradise Hotel at dawn last Sunday. It was discovered missing about 1:45 a.m.
