Zambo City Jail male dorm adjudged best nationwide PDF Print E-mail

The male dormitory of the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center was adjuged as “Best City Jail” nationwide during the recently concluded 27th BJMP Anniversary celebration.

The “Best City Jail” award was formally announced after careful evaluation of the National PRAISE Committee considering the accomplishments and performances of jail personnel in accordance with the criteria set forth in the “Unit Award.”

The award was personally received by Zamboanga jail warden J/ Chief Insp. Nathaniel Aljas.

The program was formally graced by DILG Assistant Secretary EpimacoDensing III and Chief BJMP, Jail Director Deogracias C. Tapayan at the AFP Commissioned Officers Club, De Jesus Avenue, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Aljas expressed his gratitude to the all local executives, stake holders, visitors, PDLs, and personnel for their support and help.

eanwhile, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology national office has issued two vehicles which consisted of a prisoners van and an ambulance to the Zamboanga City Jail- male dormitory to augment its daily operational activity. (Dan Toribio)
