5 investors bid for IMC Print

Five investors have submitted their bids for the Investment Management Contract (IMC) that will pave the way for an operational takeover of the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative (Zamcelco).

Ferdie Rodriguez, Zamcelco Information Officer, identified the prospective bidders as The Davao Light and Power Company Inc. of Aboitiz Power, Comstech Integration Alliance of Meralco, Crown Investment Holdings Inc., FDC Utilities and Nikolas Management Services Inc.

Both Davao Light and Power Company and Comstech participated in the previous biddings for the IMC.  Both however failed to enter into a contract with Zamcelco.

This month’s bidding is the fourth for the IMC.

Meralco-Comstech withdrew its participation last month.

“Hopefully, we will be successful by this time.  El fourth bidding del IMC so that pwede ayuda man rehabilitate conel cooperative and address maga major concerns del diatun electric cooperative,” Rodriguez said.  (RGAAGo)
