A suspected bomb expert was killed after he  reportedly resisted arrest during a raid in Tabuk Suba, Barangay Poblacion West, Salug Municipality, Zamboanga del Norte last Thursday night.

Police identified the subject as Benhar Lendit Muksan alias Bin-Bin.

During the search made at the house of the suspect, lawmen recovered a hand grenade; assorted bomb components and camouflage uniforms.

Police also recovered a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu hidden in the suspect’s motorcycle.

The law enforcement operation was conducted by elements of the 901st Mobile Company of the RMFB9 with operatives of the Regional Maritime Unit 9, Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company in coordination with the Salug Municipal Police Station.
