Four injured in Culianan mishap Print

Four persons were injured when a motorcycle crashed into a pedestrian along Maria Clara Lobregat Highway last Saturday.

A police report showed that the accident involved a motorcycle driven by 37-year-old Dionieby Luayon y Bentosa with backriders Alejandro Ferrer y Inglan, 34, and Joel Bentosa y Lansantos, 23.

The pedestrial was identified as Harold Jacinto y Abanilla, 24, a resident of Barangay Culianan.

The motorcycle was travelling towards the east coast when it collided with Abanilla who was then crossing the highway.

Due to the impact, the riders as well as the pedestrial were thrown away from the crash site and suffered injuries.

They were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The motorcycle was impounded at the Culianan Police Station pending further investigation.  (Dan Toribio)
