HPG-9 recovers 3 carnapped vehicles PDF Print E-mail

The Highway Patrol Group-9 (HPG-9) has recovered three motor vehicles believed to have been carnapped during their series of anti-carnapping operations in the city.

Sr. Supt. Neil B. Francia, Highway Patrol Group-9 chief,   described the three carnapped motor vehicles as a gold and black Toyota Fortuner with plate numbers AAW 9866 and AGA 7150, and one black Isuzu Sportivo with plate numberJBW 918.

The gold Fortuner was reportedly driven by Kamil Sampang within the vicinity of Suterville.  When checked, the unit was reportedly placed under hold order number  20140128.

Based on data from the Motor vehicle Management Information System, the owner is a certain Fred Suansing of Las Piñas, Metro Manila.

The black Fortuner, meanwhile, was also placed under hold order number 20150309. It is reportedly owned by Sheila Morelos of Quezon City.

Troopers recoverd the vehicle in Putik while being driven by a certain Sudin Musa.

Francia also said that the Isuzu Sportivo was also impounded by the HPG motor vehicle clearance section because a certain Ferdinand Arapoc ask a clearance for transfer of ownership but it was found-out that documents presented by Arapoc were falsified.

The owner of the vehicle was identified to be a certain Jam Quarais.  (Allen Abastillas)
