A former policeman and three others were killed while a 53-year-old man was wounded in three separate gun attacks in Barangays Kasanyangan and San Roque over the past two days.

An ex-cop and his companion were brutally gunned down by riding-in-tandem criminals while travelling along the Kasanyangan Highway at dawn yesterday.

The victims were identified as Edlin Lambo y Baughman, 34, a former Police Officer 1 who had been dismissed from the service.  Lambo was killed on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds.

The suspects then fled towards the direction of the city proper.

At around noontime, Bashir Kasim, 50, was allegedly shot and killed by Jubail Asiddin, 70, inside a mosque in Omar Drive, Barangay Talon- Talon.
