Another bike thief falls, 2 stolen Hondas recovered PDF Print E-mail

Another suspected motorcycle thief was arrested and two stolen motorcycles were recovered during a follow-up operation conducted by the An-car Unit under the supervision of City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin de Ocampo along San Jose Road the other day.

Insp. Mohamar Mariwa identified the suspect as Khalil Kit Abdulbari y Villavieja alias Kit-Kit, 26, married, of Don Navarro St., San Jose.
Arround 11 p.m. Monday, an informant reported to the police’s An-car unit that a suspected motorcycle thief was spotted along Sunshine Drive, San Jose. Mariwa led his team and rushed to San Jose to arrest Abdulbari.

Initial investigation showed that a witness identified Abdulbari as the person who took a Honda XRM motorcycle with plate number JD 3746 owned by Christ Mark Sulong, while it was parked along Don Navarro St,  near an internet café last Sunday afternoon.

A follow-up operation was carried out around 12 noon last Tuesday at Dacon, Recodo that resulted to the recovery of Sulong’s motorcycle and a Honda Wave motorcycle owned by James Geronimo, 23, of Curuan.

Sulong’s motorcycle was pawned by Abdulbari to a certain Omar for P 1,800.
Abdulbari was detained at the central police station pending the filing of charges against him. — Dan Toribio Jr.
