A total of 366 newly-appointed police officers of the Police Regional Office-9 graduated from the Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) during a ceremony held at the PRO9 Multipurpose Hall, Camp Romeo Abendan in Barangay Mercedes yesterday.

PCSupt. Edwin De Ocampo, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, was the resource speaker during the program.

The graduates were composed of 366 male and 97 female police officers.

The 60-day rigid BISOC training is considered the last phase of security training prior to the graduates’ assignment to their respective field units.

The program aims to equip the new police officers of the necessary skills and knowledge as they start their service.

The 366 BISOC graduates will be assigned to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) and the Provincial Mobile Force Battalion.  (PR)
