A businessman, who was on his way to visit his wife , was ambushed and killed by riding-in tandem criminals in Baliwasan Grande last Sunday.

Chief Insp. Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-9 Information Officer, identified the victim as Jaber Lumintad y Kabisas aka Noy-noy, the 42-year-old owner of Jabsea Enterprises.

Lumintad was reportedly on the way to visit his second wife when he was shot by motorcycle riding gunmen.

The assailants, who were reportedly wearing black jackets, shot the victim three times, hitting him on the head, neck and finger.  He died on the spot.

Police recovered three spent shells of a cal. .45 pistol at the crime scene.

The suspects reportedly fled towards the direction of the city proper.  Police are still investigating.
