City government employees are expected to receive P25,000 in Collective Negotiation Agreement incentives this December, according to Geraldine M. Dela Paz, Acting City Budget Officer.

In an interview, Dela Paz said that they are optimistic on giving out the incentives based on the level of savings and performance of employees for the year.

A total of two thousand city government employees are expected to receive the CNA.  This includes regular, casual, contractual employees, department heads and city councilors.

To qualify for the incentive, the recipient must be working with the city government for a period of four months  as of October 31, 2018.  The employee should also still be in service as of this date.

The City Budget Office is presently  checking on the mode of payment, whether the funds will be delivered in cash or through the Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

The CNA is given based on the savings of the city government  from the following: Traveling expenses; communication expenses; repairs and maintenance; transportation and delivery expenses; supplies and materials; and utility expenses.
