City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo  had earlier announced that they have unmasked the identities of the two gunmen who shot Naing near the City Council compound while he and his wife were riding on their owner type jeep on their way home.

The police will revise the case from frustrated murder to murder to be filed against the suspects today.
De Ocampo expressed optimism that they can get the killers and send them to jail as his men are working double time to solve the case and bring justice to Naing’s death.

Naing died was described by fellow investigators and police reporters as a good law enforcer and had contributed many things in solving and preventing crimes in the city since he started his career.

It was learned that Naing’s last case was a homicide case that was scheduled for promulgation by the court this month.
