DPWH gets P45M PDAF for projects in Zambo City PDF Print E-mail

The Department of Public  Works and Highways District Office has received a P45 million   allocation from the House of Representatives for the implementation of  various projects  through the Priority Development Assistance Funds.

District Engineer Merham Acas said the various projects for implementation are  multi-purpose covered courts, barangay roads, day care centers, drainage and other others.

These projects were initiated of District 2 Rep. Erbie A. Fabian and District 1 Rep. Maria Isabel Climaco-Salazar. 
Acas said 16 of the projects  are now being implemented Nineteen others are still under preparations on their details — preliminary engineering, technical description and
dialogues with the barangay officials for the acquisition of right-of-ways where the project sites will undertaken.

Acas said his office will also hold talks with officials of the  Zamboanga City  Electric Cooperative and the Zamboanga Water District Office for the smooth construction of barangay roads, especially those concerning the electric cables and water pipes along the road projects. --Allen Abastillas
