The City Police Office submitted to Mayor Celso Lobregat last Monday another weekly traffic accomplishment report

The report contains results of the police campaign against road violations covering the period of September 24 to 30, 2011.

A report from the Traffic Section under Sr. Insp. Cesar Memoracion showed that non-wearing of crash helmet while driving motorcycles remain the common violations with a total of 133 apprehensions (Sept.24-30).

Twenty three PUJ drivers were caught loading passengers on prohibited zones.

One motorcycle was apprehended for having modified muffler that creates excessive noise.

A total of 59 vehicles were held for having no headlight while traveling in the street.

Three motorcycles were held for improper display of plates.

A total of 34 vehicles were impounded and TOP/citation tickets were issued to the drivers. 

Ten vehicles remain impounded for further investigation and no TOP/citations were issued.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo disclosed that the accomplishment report was part of the continuous campaign against motorists violating Ordinance No. 248 and Republic Act No. 4136. — Dan Toribio Jr.
