To better serve the transacting public, the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC)-Zamboanga City office will be open on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 6 and 7.

The extension of work hours on weekend is in line with PRC’s “Mobile Processing Program” which is primarily aimed to cater to working people who may not have the time to renew their professional identification cards or to avail of other transactions during office hours.

Specifically, the office targets employed professionals working in government agencies, offices, schools and other private entities, according to Atty. Senando Esteban, officer in charge of the PRC-Pagadian-Zamboanga City office.

Aside from renewal of professional ID cards, other transactions will include registration, application, issuance of certificates and all other services offered by the office during ordinary days.

The Mobile Processing Program started this month and will run until 2011. Under the program, the PRC will extend work on weekends and will serve the different areas under the jurisdiction of PRC-Zamboanga City and Pagadian City.

While Nov. 6-7 will be the schedule for Zamboanga City clients, Nov. 27 and 28 (Saturday and Sunday) will be the schedule for Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay clients. In the coming weekends, the PRC mobile processing program will be in Basilan, Tawi-tawi and Jolo.

All concerned are invited to avail of the Nov. 6-7 mobile processing program of the PNRC in Zamboanga City.
