A pregnant woman was killed while his son was injured in a highway mishap in Victoria, this city last Monday morning.

Killed was Analisa Ogang, a six-month pregnant. Injured was his son Nelson Ogang.

A police report disclosed that Nelson was driving a motorcycle with his mother as backrider negotiating the highway in Victoria when they were accidentally hit by a van driven by Elmer Limen.

Analisa sustained bone fractures and died on the spot while Nelson was taken to the hospital.

Limen was held by the police for further investigation while both vehicles involved in the accident were impounded at the Sangali Police Station.

Police said that the motorcycle and the van were on opposite direction when Limen lost control of the steering wheel and bumped the motorcycle. — Dan Toribio Jr.
