Beng turns over P2 million projects in Mariki, Rio Hondo PDF Print E-mail

Residents of barangays Mariki and Rio Hondo will formally receive today footbridge projects initiated by House Deputy Speaker for Mindanao Beng Climaco and intended to improve access to mobility and ultimately help bring about development and progress in the said areas.

The footbridge projects cost P1 million each with funding taken from the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of Cong. Climaco.

The inauguration and turnover of the projects will be done simultaneously with the distribution of kiddie chairs to daycare centers in both barangays and the distribution of Islamic reading materials to elementary schools also in both villages.

Climaco said the implementation of the projects still form part of the consultations she undertook in all District I barangays.

Expected to be present during the turn over rites today are barangay officials and residents and representatives from the District Engineer’s Office.

Climaco herself will lead in the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon in both rites.

Last November 4, the lady solon turned over a P1million road concreting project to the residents of Executive Village in barangay Sta. Maria also to intended to improve access to mobility.

Climaco has vowed to undertake more projects to help alleviate the people’s plights. The projects to be implemented will be results of the consultations and dialogues with the residents themselves. — Marvin Segura
