Wanted cop, 5 others nabbed PDF Print E-mail

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo yesterday disclosed that six more wanted persons, including a policeman, were arrested in separate operations as campaign has intensified against persons with pending warrant of arrest.

PO2 Allan Banguih of the Sirawai Police Station was arrested by operatives of the Detective Management Unit on the strength of a warrant for homicide with case number 26032.

The DMU men served the warrant to Banguih along Gov. Lim Avenue, this city last Monday afternoon.

The warrant was issued by Judge Gregorio Dela Peña of the Regional Trial Court branch 12 dated October 26, 2011.

Banguih was temporarily released after he posted a P40,000 bail bond.

Jolly Alvarez y Antonio, 26, single, of Bunguiao was arrested by operatives of the Sangali Police Station last Tuesday afternoon.

Alvarez was wanted for arson with case number 26053 with no recommended bail bond. The warrant was issued by Judge Reynerio Estacio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 17.

Deniah Salvador y Rodriguez, 34, married, of Mampang was arrested by operatives of the Tetuan Police Station last Tuesday afternoon.

Salvador was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for grave slander with a case number 49213 issued by Judge Ivan Mendoza of the Municipal Trial Court branch 2 with recommended bail bond of P6,000.

Salvador was temporarily released after posting a bail bond.

Cris Odulio y Loyola of Upper Calarian was arrested by operatives of DMU last Monday night. He was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for two counts of rape with case numbers 26047 and 26048 issued by Judge Peter Eisma of the Regional Trial Court branch 15 dated October 26, 2011 with no recommended bail bond.

Angelica Alguidano of Urdaneta St. was arrested by operatives of the DMU last Monday afternoon on the strength of a warrant for violation of article 201 paragraph 3 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by presidential Decree number 969 with case number 25581 dated October 20, 2011.

Alguidano was temporarily released after she posted a P24,000 bail bond.

Around 10:30 a.m. yesterday, policemen turned over another wanted person at the police station. His identity was not immediately known. — Dan Toribio Jr.
