Police arrest 11 more wanted persons in ZC PDF Print E-mail

Following instruction issued by City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo to intensify the campaign against wanted persons, police operatives arrested 11 more individuals with pending warrants of arrest including one of the most wanted men involved in bike stealing activities.

De Ocampo identified the most wanted person who was arrested was Malali Dimarunsing y Calaycay alias Jalil of Sta. Barbara.

Dimarunsing was nabbed by operatives of the City Police Office’s Anti-carnapping Unit led by Insp. Mohammar Mariwa at Old Guiwan Highway last Wednesday night.

Dimarunsing was collared on the strength of a warrant for violation of Republic Act 6539 otherwise known as the anti-carnapping act of 1972 issued by Judge Jesus carbon of the Regional Trial Court Branch 16, on November 12, 2010 with case number 24877 and recommended bail of P180,000.

Dimarunsing was earlier spotted at the barangay hall of Guiwan. Immediately the lawmen served him the warrant.

Police said Dimarunsing was considered as one of the most wanted persons in the city involved in criminal activities.
The ten other wanted persons are:

* Rogelio Manuel y Falcasantos, 51, married, of Sitio Siguinan, Bunguiao, who surrendered to the Sangali Police Station after he learned he has a pending warrant for arson with case number 2605304; Joel Saavedra y Constantino of Sitio Lumbayao, Mercedes, was nabbed by DMU operatives. He has a pending warrant for two counts of attempted murder with case number 25802 and 25803 and P240,000 bail bond;

*Ronald Serrano y Carasco of Varela St. was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for attempted murder with case number 26054 and recommended bail of P120,000.

*Janeth Francisco, married of San Roque was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for qualified theft with case number25794 and recommended bail of P24,000.

*Erwin Francisco of Malagutay was nabbed based on a pending warrant for physical injury with case number 49678 (1-6176) and recommended bail of P1,000.

*Robert Reyes y Hongo, 46, of Upper Calarian was arrested on the strength of a warrant for slight physical injury and light threat with case number 49535 (I-6116) and 49537 (I- 6118) and recommended bail bond P1,000.

*Ryan Reyes y Francisco, 24, of Sinunuc was arrested on the strength of a warrant for slight physical injury with case number 49536 (I-6117) and recommended bail bond P1,000.

*Dario Ebol y Bazan, 57, married, of Tulungatung was nabbed  for violation of reckless imprudence resulting to serious physical injuries with case number 48374-3954 and recommended bail bond P10,000.

*Antonio Laosa y Luna, 28, married. and Victor Rodriguez y Enriquez, 37, of Pamucutan were nabbed for violation of PD 533 otherwise known as the anti-cattle rustling law of 1974 with case number 26052 and recommended bail of P36,000 each.
