A Filipino-Chinese businesswoman lost more than P50,000 in cash and valuable items from three armed men along Tomas Claudio St., Dipolog City, last Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the victim as Patricia Huang, 56, married, a hardware store owner.

Police said that Huang was about to go home around 5 p.m with her detailed security guard and driver aboard a motorcab when she was held up.

Investigation disclosed that the three armed men tailed Huang and upon reaching the front gate of her residence, they blocked their path and gunpoint declared a heist.

Huang’s detailed guard failed to react after the one of the holduppers poked a gun at him.

The holduppers divested Huang of P50,000, a set of white gold bracelet, credit cards and four checks.

They sped towards unknown direction aboard a Yamaha motorcycle. — Noning R. Antonio
