Stolen Honda XRM recovered PDF Print E-mail

Highway Patrol Group 9 operatives recovered a stolen red Honda XRM motorcycle with plate number WL 7162.last Saturday at the Zamboanga City wharf.

Prior to the recovery, around  2:00 p.m last Saturday, a certain Asanji,  student of a local university, applied for a shipment clearance of the motorcycle for Jolo at the HPG9 Office in Camp Batalla.

When SPO4 Wilfredo Silva and PO2 Kalam Ronnie J. Diong checked the certificate of the registration of the motorcycle at the  Motorvehicle Information Management System( MVIM ) that is linked nationwide, it was found out in the list  of alarmed/stolen vehicles under alarm number 2006-0628-178. It was stolen while parked along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Dasmariñas, Cavite. The owner is from Cavite and the motorcycle was registered with the Land Transportation Office Extension Office in Pasig City.

Immediately, Silva and Diong  contacted and coordinated with Philippine Ports Authority officers  for the recovery of the motorcycle which was  parked by the applicant for clearance shipment.

HPG9 Chief Sr. Supt. Romeo R. Uy directed Silva and Diong to impound the motorcycle at the HPG9 Headquarters in Camp Batalla  and contact National Headquarters about the recovery. — Allen Abastillas
