Shotgun man faces illegal possession of firearm charge PDF Print E-mail

The Tetuan police have forwarded to the City Prosecutor Office a case of illegal possession of firearm against a 30-year-old man who was caught in possession of a home-made shotgun the other day.

Police identified the suspect as Rodolfo Goles y Pelandres, married, of Morning Breeze, Tugbungan.

Goles was arrested by policemen after the owner of the house he was renting reported to the police that he was armed with a sumpak and harassing them.
Goles was taken to the police station for investigation and was later brought to the prosecutor office for inquest.

He availed of a 15-day waiver and was detained again at the police station.

Meanwhile, Mark Daniel Dela Cruz, 27, single of Barangay La Paz was nabbed by policemen on the strength of a warrant for qualified theft.

The warrant was issued by Judge Reynerio Estacio of the Regional Trial Court branch 14 with recommended bail bond of P24,000.

The suspect was taken to the Ayala Police Station for investigation and proper turn-over to the court. — Dan Toribio Jr.
