HPG men recovers stolen bike PDF Print E-mail

A stolen Kawasaki motorcycle WAS recovered by Highway Patrol Group 9 operatives yesterday morning while a man was applying for its  Motor Vehicle Clearance at Camp Batalla.

The HPG-9 operatives composed of SPO4 Wilfredo  Silva, PO3 Kalam Diong and PO1 Salahuddin conducted a check on the motorcycle as the man was applying for clearance for its shipment aboard a local vessel. It was found out that the blue Kasawaki with plate number UG156 was in the list of  Vehicle Infromation Management System under alarm number 2005-0903-022. It was stolen while parked at St. Benedict  3rd District of Valenzuela, Manila on  March 9, 2005.

The Kawasaki was aboard a cargo vessel from Manila and  was to be shipped to Jolo.

HPG-9 Chief Sr. Supt.  Romeo R. Uy directed his men to seize and impound the motorcycle at Camp Batalla and to conduct further investigation. — Allen Abastillas
