Mother, son hurt in Vitali gun attack PDF Print E-mail

A 47-year-old woman and her son were wounded when an unidentified man rained their house with bullets at Sitio Bataan, Vitali at dawn yesterday.

Wounded were Lolita Tandos and her son Arnel, 20, single. They both sustained bullet wounds in their feet and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A police report disclosed that the Tandos family was sleeping inside their house when a gunman opened fire on them. Recovered during an ocularinvestigation outside
Tandos’ house  were five spent shells of 9mm pistol.

Physicians declared the victims out of danger.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo said that investigators of the Vitali police station were still working on the case.

Police were looking on personal dispute and family feud as possible motives behind the gun attack. — Dan Toribio Jr.
