Dispatcher shot, hurt PDF Print E-mail

A jeepney dispatcher was shot and seriously wounded by one of two men riding on a motorcycle along Sta. Catalina road last Wednesday night.

Wounded was Jonard Marcos y Francisco, 26, single, of Km. 6, Mampang.

A police report disclosed that Marcos was riding on the roof of a PUJ that was going to Mampang around 7 p.m. when two men riding tandem on a motorcycle sidled up the jeepney and the backrider shot him near the Rojo Compound in Sta. Catalina.

Marcos was wounded in the left cheek. the bullet exited in the nape.

The assailant’s motorcycle sped east after the incident.

Recovered at the crime scene was a spent shell of .45 caliber pistol.

Investigators were looking into personal dispute as the possible motive behind the gun attack. — Dan Toribio Jr.
