“As part of the democratic process, it is best for Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona to give his side and defend himself and face the accusations and controvercies thrown on him on the impeachment case filed by the House of Representatives.”

Thus said District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian on the recent political  situation in Manila in which the Judiciary and Executive Departments are at loggerheads as a result of the impeachment case filed against Chief Justice Corona.

Fabian revealed that he has signed late the impeachment proceeding case against Corona before the the House of Representatives took a Christmas break.
Fabian explained that  he was late whenthe first and actual signing of the impeachment case by 188  House members took place.

“I was late during the actual signing because I had a meeting with my partymates during the actual signing, but I signed the second supplemental page in favor of the impeachment proceeding,”Fabian said. — Allen Abastillas
