A 39-year-old man was shot and seriously wounded by his business partner at Ortega Drive, Don Alfaro St., Tetuan yesterday morning.

The victim was identified as Andy Asmawil, married. He was shot by Juli Halid.

A sketchy police report disclosed that Asmawil and Halid had engaged in a heated argument due to business matter. Halid grabbed a .45 caliber pistol and shot Asmawil twice.

Asmawil sustained bullet wounds in the jaw and stomach and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Halid escaped after the incident.

Recovered at the crime scene was a spent shell of .45 caliber pistol scene.

Halid is being hunted by the police. A case of frustrated murder have been readied against him. — Dan Toribio Jr.
