Rep. Fabian inaugurates new covered court in Zambowood PDF Print E-mail

District 2 Congressman Erbie A. Fabian yesterday inaugurated a P3.7 million multi-purpose covered court with basketball ring and grotto in Barangay Zambowood.

The project was funded from Fabian’s congressional allocation and was implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways under Engr. Merham Acas.

The project construction started last September and completed on November last year.

Aside from the covered court, Fabian also donated a grotto which was formally tuned over to the Barangay Council of Zambowood.

The congressman also turned over sets of boxing globes, balls and chestboards to the barangay council.

The covered court and grotto were constructed inside the Zambowood Elementary School.

Fabian said the project is part of his continuous support to the different barangays and schools aimed to improve the living condition of the people and upgrade educational facilities .

The lawmaker added that there are other barangays where he is planning to put up other projects before his last months in the House of Representatives.

Meanwhile, the Zambowood Barangay Council led by Chairman Rommel Bacasong and the staff of the elementary school headed by District Supervisor
Carmen Saculingan expressed their deepest gratitude to Fabian during the turnover ceremony yesterday for his project for their school and barangay.

Bacasong said the covered court is very useful for various occasions and activities.

He promised that they will take good care of the covered court so that many people can use  in the coming years. — Dan Toribio Jr.
