Jaycee Mannix Dalipe was recently awarded as the Most Outstanding Jaycee for 2011.

Dalipe thanked Junior Chamber International Zamboanga Chapter president Rodel Marquez, 2011 National President Bernard Dy and 2012 National President Ivan Ruste for the coveted award.

The former vice mayor received the award Saturday last week during the 64th induction and turnover ceremony held at the Lantaka Hotel.

According to Dalipe, among the criteria for the award was his exemplary performance specifically his contributions as the national convention director which brought in 1,500 delegates from other regions to Zamboanga City.

The convention ended without any hitches and problem where even the jaycees from other regions cited that the convention was one of the most successful they have attended so far.

Dalipe was also attributed for supporting various local projects and one of this is the JCI KIDS which stands for “knowledge for Indigent and Deserving Students.”

“I commend the officials of the JCI for acknowledging my efforts, hard work and the time I spend to make the convention a great success,” Dalipe stressed. — NS
