Robredo, Bartolome to visit Zambo Sur anytime this month PDF Print E-mail

Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo and PNP Chief  Director General Nicanor Bartolome are expected to be in Zamboanga del  Sur anytime this month to attend the National Joint Security Coordinating Center (NJSCC) meeting that will be hosted by the First Tabak  Division of the Philippine Army at Camp Sang- an,  Pulacan.

Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial  Director Sr. Supt. Jose Bayani L. Gucela said the meeting is one of the regular conferences of NJSCC). The last one was hosted by  the Bataan region.

On the othe hand, Gucela commended the men of the Pagadian City Police Office under Supt. Primitivo Lorenzo for the arrest of  Ronnie Quilme in Cebu City last week.

Quilmi is one of the most wanted persons in Pagadian City and Zamboanga City with pending warrant for 10 murder cases.

Meanwhile, all police stations in Zamboanga del Sur are preparing for the implementation of the “Clean and Green” program as directed by Camp Crame. All police stations nationwide are directed to plant organic vegetables for healthy living and additional food sustainance.

Gucela said the celebration of the fiesta Sto. Niño in Pagadian city last Sunday was very peaceful. The city experienced heavy influx of  visitors from different places. Among the activities were a fluvial parade, street dancing, pumpboat racing and others. — Allen Abastillas
