As part of its humanitarian commitment to the community, the San Ramon Power Incorporated last Dec. 15 distributed school bags to pupils of the San Ramon Elementary School.

Also, in line with its social responsibility, SRPI distributed food packages to 170 indigent families of Barangay Talisayan.

Engineer Ruben Conti of SRPI said the school bags contained note books, pencils and erasers. Most of the students come from families of inmates and former inmates of the San Ramon Penal Colony.

Last Dec, 19, SRPI gave away food packages and slippers to indigent families and students, respectively, at the Mt. View Elementary School in Barangay Pamucutan.

A similar activity was also done in Sinubong.

Last Dec. 9, SRPI personnel gave a briefing on the company’s proposed coal-fired power plant upon the invitation of the environmental society in the west coast. — PR
