Camino Nuevo pusher nabbed PDF Print E-mail

Operatives of the Zamboanga City Public Safety Company arrested another suspected shabu pusher in Camino Nuevo last Tuesday afternoon.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified the suspect as Bernabe Panes alias Bobong, 46, married, of Boholano Drive, Camino Nuevo.

Panes was collared by the police after he sold a sachet of shabu in exchange of P200 marked money to PO1 Manuel Morados Tolentino.

Recovered from Panes’s possession were three other sachets of shabu.

The seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for quantitative and qualitative examinations.

Panes was detained at the police station pending the filing of charges in court against him.

Meanwhile, Allan Morcilla y Dopecillo, 31, of Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay was arrested by policemen at the Dacon Company compound  in Recodo last Tuesday morning.

Morcilla was nabbed by operatives of the Buug police and personnel of the Ayala Police Station. He was wanted for the crime of attempted murder with case number I-4413. The warrant was issued by Judge Reuben Lo Maraon of the Regional Trial Court branch 24 in Zamboanga Sibugay, dated January 31, 2011. — Dan Toribio Jr.
