Owner of stolen bike to pursue case vs. thief PDF Print E-mail

The owner of a motorcycle that was recovered by men of the Zamboanga Sibugay  Highway Patrol Group Provincial Team Unit  and the Ipil Municipal Police Station has filed with the Municipal Court of Ipil a carnapping case against the person  who stole  the motorcycle.

The suspect identified as a certain  P. R Mancinedo hails from Lamitan City and is  temporarily staying in Ipil. He  was arrested by  HPG and Ipil police operatives last January 22 around 9:30 p.m at the vicinity of Spinola School in Ipil.

Mancinedo was caught pushing the stolen black-white Honda XRM motorcycle.

Zamboanga Sibugay Highway Patrol Group Provincial Unit Chief SPO4 Nestor Bandigan in a report to HPG Regional Chief Sr. Supt.  Romeo R. Uy, said the  inquest number of the criminal case is  NPS Number 12A-00039 filed by  J.E Lamban, owner of the motorcycle.

“We are ready to testify in court against the carnapper,” Bandigan said.

Sr. Supt. Uy commended Bandigan and his  men for a job well done in the recovery of the motorcycle and the arrest of the thief.

In addition, Bandigan was cited for establishing good working relation with the Ipil Municipal Police Station.

”My command is now evaluating the accomplishment and performance of the leadership of Bandigan and his men.

After the evaluation, Bandigan and his men will be endorsed to HPG National Director Chief Supt. Leonardo Espina  to receive the Philippine National Police Medalya ng Kahusayan. — Allen Abastillas
