Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 9) under Regional Director Supt. Adzhar Albani arrested three suspected drug pushers and seized from them 50 grams of shabu during a buy-bust operation inside a fastfood restaurant along Gov. Camins Avenue at noon last Thursday.

Albani identified those arrested as Mudzna Agil, 43, alias Madam, Salvador Nur, 20, and Shandra Goe, 18, all residents of Southcom Village, Upper Calarian.

The PDEA regional director disclosed that his agents met Agil and her two companions inside the fastfood restaurant around 12:30 p.m. where the buy-bust operation was carried out.

Albani said that had Agil agreed to sell to the PDEA agents P200,000 worth of shabu without knowing that it was a buy-bust operation.

Agil and her two companions were held by the PDEA men after she handed over two medium packs of shabu to the poseur buyer.

Agil and her two companions were detained at the PDEA headquarters for further investigation while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations.

Albani said that a case of violation of Republic Act 9165 have forwarded to the City Prosecutor Office against the suspects.

The arrest was part of the PDEA campaign against prohibited drugs. — Dan Toribio Jr.
