Two wanted men were arrested in separate operations in Tetuan and in Manicahan last Saturday and Friday.

City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo identified those arrested as Rodrigo Enriquez y Alfonso, married, of Mormons Drive, Tetuan and Kristony Baladhay y Zamora, 24, of Poblacion, Manicahan.

Enriquez was nabbed by men of the Tetuan Police Station last Saturday morning for the crime of grave slander with case number 499770. The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Ivan Mendoza of the Regional Trial Court Branch 2 on August 25, 2011. The court recommended a P6,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty.

Baladhay was nabbed by operatives of the Sangali Police Station under Chief Insp. Elmer Acuna on the strength of a warrant for serious illegal detention and two counts for rape with case numbers 26287, 26288 and 26289. The warrant was issued by Judge Peter Eisma of the Regional Trial Court branch 15 dated January 27, 2011 with no bail bond recommended. — Dan Toribio Jr.
