CAFGU, bizman killed in Zambo Sur violence PDF Print E-mail

A volunteer of the Citizen Armed Forces and Geographical Unit (CAFGU) was stabbed dead by his own cousin while a businessman was shot to death and his companion was wounded in separate violence in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, and Pagadian City last weekend.

Rodel Udtohan was drinking with Jerome Sabanal, 24, single, when they engaged in a heated argument after consuming several bottles of beer.

At the height of the argument, Sabanal lost his temper, pulled out a knife and stabbed his cousin several times.

Sabanal escaped after stabbing Udhotan who was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, businessman Fortunato Sepada, 55, and Ramon Babao were also having drinking spree when gunmen aboard a motorcycle appeared and shot them.

Sepada, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds while Babao absorbed a bullet in body.
