Cabaluay fisherman, 18, stabbed dead PDF Print E-mail

Residents along the shore of Sitio Pook, Cabaluay recovered the body of a young fisherman with multiple stab wounds last Saturday morning.

A report from the Sangali Police station identified the victim as Ariel Marquez y Santos, 18, single, of Cabaluay.

The body was discovered around 10:25 a.m. and it was reported to the Sangali police station for investigation.

Relatives told the police that Marquez left home around 6 p.m. last Friday and went fishing. He did not return until the following day.

During ocular investigation, policemen recovered three flashlights and assorted fish from the possession of Marquez.

Police suspected that Marquez was on his way back home after fishing when the killer blocked his path and stabbed him several times.

The body was brought to the victim’s residence after men of the Sangali Police Station and Scene of the Crime Operatives conducted procedural investigation.— Dan Toribio Jr.
